Services

Solclaris provides tailored owner-side technical-commercial advisory across development, delivery, operations and transactions. Common mandates include the areas below.

Close-out, acceptance and handover

For assets approaching PAC/FAC, or where defects, documentation, acceptance evidence or contractual close-out obligations remain unresolved, including issues carried into operations.

Typical outputs: acceptance and handover review, close-out tracker, PAC/FAC recommendation.

Performance, defects and contractor accountability

For underperforming assets or portfolios where responsibility for losses or defects is unclear, including issues involving EPC obligations, O&M scope, warranty position, design assumptions, as-built condition or operations.

Typical outputs: diagnostic note, accountability map, recovery roadmap.

Transactions and portfolio transition

For acquisitions, refinancings, exits, portfolio onboarding or transfers where delivery status, operational readiness, performance, contractual position or residual technical-commercial risk need clearer assessment.

Typical outputs: diligence memorandum, risk matrix, pre-close or early-ownership priority plan.

Tailored technical-commercial advisory

For defined project, asset or portfolio questions involving regulatory requirements, procurement, contracts, lifecycle planning or investment decisions. Solclaris can scope and deliver the work, bringing in specialist engineering input where useful.

Typical outputs: technical-commercial review, readiness assessment, options paper, implementation plan.

BESS and solar-plus-storage

The same owner-side approach applies to standalone BESS and solar-plus-storage. Support can include technical-commercial diligence, review of acceptance and handover evidence, EPC/O&M/route-to-market (RTM) interfaces, warranty structure, availability and degradation KPIs, operational readiness and transition risk. Specialist battery engineering input can be brought in where required.

How I work

Clear diagnosis, owner-side judgement and practical delivery.

01

Diagnose

Review the relevant requirements, contracts, data and evidence to establish the position, key risks and priority actions.

02

Advise

Set out the owner-side position, options and recommended action for boards, investment committees and senior decision-makers.

03

Deliver

Carry the agreed workstream through to a clear output and next steps, engaging directly with contractors, advisers, authorities and other counterparties where required.

Engagements can be structured as fixed-scope reviews, time-and-materials support or advisory retainers.

Solclaris works from an owner-side position, with no standing commercial dependencies on EPCs or O&M providers.
